Student internships started in 2011 and have been continuing since then with great success. The internship program is a part of a larger initiative of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens funded by the NSRF. The system is partially age- based and partially merit-based and makes it possible for between 20 and 30 students each year to gain valuable work experience as interns in public schools, publishing houses and other institutions.
