One of the main aims and objectives of the department consists in ensuring excellence in research and teaching. To that end, we have been aiming at constantly improving our international profile, for instance by organizing international conferences and formal collaboration with universities abroad. Over the course of the years, the Department of German Language and Literature has been participating in numerous Scientific Research Programs, both on an international and a national level.
