Angeliki Tsokoglou is Full Professor of Linguistics at the Department of German Language and Literature of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). She has a PhD (1998) in theoretical and comparative linguistics (Greek-German) from the same Department. She has been teaching in MA programmes at the NKUA and at the Hellenic Open University (HOU). She has participated in the development of research work end educational material for the National Language Foreign Language Exam System (KPG). From 2017 onwards, she has been co-director of the Interdepartmental Research Programme "Linguistics and Grammar Teaching". Her research interests include theoretical linguistics, comparative linguistics, syntax, information structure, and grammar teaching.
