Dr. Anastasia Chournazidis has been graduated from German Philology at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens since 1995. In 1998, she has participated in the Colloquium of Literature at the University of Saarbrücken in Germany, as a scholar of the Japanese Foundation SYLFF. In 2010, she obtained a Doctoral Diploma (Supervisor: Wilhelm Benning) at the Department of German Literature, University of Athens, entitled “Literature as a Observation System. The man without the qualities of Robert Musil in the light of Systemic Theory”. From 2006 to 2016 she worked as a German professor (Teaching School) at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. From 2006 to 2008, she worked as an assistant in administrative support for the development of German language examinations in the State Language Certificate.
From 2016 until today, she teaches as Educational and Laboratory Staff, the subject “Language (Practical Language Exercises)”, and the Tutorial course for “Introduction to the Science for Literature” at the Department of German Language and Literature at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a member of Robert Musil's company at the University of Saarbrücken, Germany. Her research interests focus on 20th Century Literature (Robert Musil, Franz Kafka), Philosophy (Niklas Luhmann, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Walter Benjamin) and Pedagogical Sciences.
